The Wild Capture team was active and on the move this year at this year’s 100th annual NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 15-19. We were thrilled that our 3D character technology was met with so much enthusiasm from our industry peers and the press. We are especially pleased to announce that two of the industry’s most prestigious media outlets have honored Wild Capture with awards for technological innovation. These include the Computer Graphics World (CGW) ‘Silver Edge Award’ and the Post Magazine “Picks Award”.
These industry accolades lend further credibility to our unwavering commitment to constant innovation and the goal of setting the standard for digital-to-human workflows that can be seamlessly integrated across 3D pipelines. Given that the NAB Show is the preeminent conference and exhibition driving the evolution of broadcast, media, and entertainment, with participation from more than 1200 exhibitors and 65,000 attendees, we consider this stand-out recognition for our Digital Human Platform quite an achievement!
At NAB, Wild Capture’s Head of Studio, Evan Pesses, joined other thought leaders on a panel entitled: Metaverses for Entertainment and Enterprise — Capitalizing on Worldbuilding.
The panel, moderated by Gregg Katano, Hologate, SVP U.S. Operations, and Co-Vice Chair of the Producers Guild of America ‘New Media Council’, sparked a lively conversation about the rapidly growing opportunities in immersive world-building that blend business and entertainment. Evan outlined how our next-generation volumetric technology solutions are helping film/VFX, events, fashion, and multimedia professionals create digital human character assets and monetize realistic virtual world experiences. Wild Capture also roamed the show floor and met with various partners and colleagues, including NVIDIA. Recently, we announced membership to the NVIDIAInception Program, designed to accelerate our development of AI-driven volumetric video technologies for digital human fidelity.
