Louis Normandin is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Wild Capture, the leader in digital humans for multimedia customization and deployment. An accomplished entertainment production professional, Louis has forged a unique path in the world of cinematography and production technology. In his current role, Louis is chiefly responsible for Operational success of the company and the invention and development of Wild Capture's physical production technologies. Louis believes that the "scalable use of characters created with volumetric video that breaks the uncanny valley will be the key to next generation of storytellers."
Louis is excited to deliver these powerful solutions with digital human technology. Throughout his extensive career at the cutting edge of technical filmmaking and broadcast, Louis has contributed to hundreds of feature films and television episodes and amassed experience in virtual, stereoscopic and volumetric productions. His work has earned credits on three Academy Award-winning films: "Monster," "Into the Wild," and "The Green Book."
Louis is a member of the Realtime Society’s Interactive Storytelling special interest group and is also a member of the International Cinematographer’s Guild and the Society of Camera Operators.
